If you are interested in participating in the project "From the Field to the Table" you can do so in numerous ways:
Become a Full Time Participant - be part of all the Community Engagement Workshops, Events, and Performances. See the schedule page of the Blog.
- If you are a UC Berkeley Student you must enroll in the course: 181.2 - Theatrical Realization of Dramatic Texts. There is NO audition process to participate in this project. ALL students are encouraged to apply. A certain amount of spaces are reserved for Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies Majors/Minors, and spaces are reserved for Non-Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies Majors/Minors. - If you are a Community Member and you are are actively working on issues of food justice, food policy, social activism around issues of poverty/access/diversity, etc. we encourage you to participate. Be a resource for the project! Email Lisa Wymore lisawymore@berkeley.edu for more information about how to participate. There is no cost to participate as a Full Time Participant.
- If you are a UC Berkeley Student this option is not recommended, as the project is geared for full engagement with the process. However, the facilitators are willing to discuss with you enrollment unit load options/modified participation if you feel strongly about being part of the project but cannot attend fully due to schedule restrictions. Please contact lisawymore@berkeley.edu. Limited student Part Time Participant spaces available.
